Who Are Lions?
Lions are men and women who volunteer their time in an effort to serve their community and to provide a better quality of life for those in need.
Since the Lions began in 1917, they have been united in this single cause of helping those less fortunate in their communities, in their province, and around the world!
Lions International is the largest major social service organization in the world. There are over 1.35 million Lions in over 200 countries and geographical areas world wide.
In Nova Scotia there are over 1600 Lions in 69 Lions Clubs.
The Annapolis Royal Lions Club has 20 members and is growing!
We are looking for community and service minded men and women who would like to help make a difference for individuals who are less fortunate than ourselves.
